Keyword Explorer
VOLUME, DIFFICULTY AND IDEAS
Keyword Explorer takes one seed phrase and tells you whether it is worth chasing: monthly search volume, keyword difficulty (0–100), cost per click, search intent and a 12-month trend — then lists up to 200 matching and related keywords with the same numbers, the easy wins and the questions people ask.
Figures come from a keyword index built on Google Ads data and refreshed monthly — estimates, as every SEO tool's are — and a run answers in seconds.
What a run returns
- The seed’s numbers — volume, difficulty with a plain-word band (easy, possible, hard), CPC, ad competition, intent and the monthly trend.
- Ideas — phrases containing the seed and phrases Google relates to it, sortable by volume, difficulty, CPC and an opportunity score.
- Easy wins, questions and groups — the low-difficulty keywords with real searches, the question-shaped searches worth an FAQ or a heading, and the ideas clustered into page-sized groups.
Difficulty and winnability, side by side
Difficulty is a sortable estimate built from the link strength of the current top 10. Keyword Research adds the other half: a live read of the results page that says why a keyword is winnable — who holds each position and where the openings are. Use Explorer to shortlist, then Research to decide.
Questions, answered
Where does the search volume come from?
From Google Ads data, averaged over the last 12 months for the country you pick, via a keyword index that refreshes monthly.
What does keyword difficulty mean?
A 0–100 estimate of how hard it is to break into the top 10, based on the strength of the pages already there. Under 30 is easy, 30–49 is possible, 50 and above is hard.
How many keyword ideas does a run return?
Up to 100 phrases that contain the seed and up to 100 related phrases, each with volume, difficulty, CPC and intent.
